"Nepal is there to change you, not for you to change it. Lose yourself in its essence. Make your footprints with care and awareness of the precarious balance around you. Nepal is not only a place on the map, but an experience, a way of life from which we all can learn." Stephen Bezruchka - A Guide to Trekking in Nepal.

Annapurna Circuit - Teahouse Trekking in Nepal
17 days in Nepal

kagbeni annapurna Annapurna Circuit Trekking is one of the great walks in Nepal as it passes through a variety of Himalayan environments. The trek begins in the lush Marsyangdi Valley, home to the Hindu farming families of Brahmin, Chhetri and Gurung tribes, and enters the dry, arid region of Manang inhabited by Buddhist Manangis of Tibetan origin. It also reveals some of the most beautiful mountains like Annapurna II (7,937m), Gangapurna (7,485m) and Tilicho Peak (7,134m). This trip provides the experience of both the scenic and ethnic diversity of Nepal with the added excitement of crossing the Thorung La Pass (5,416m). Then to descend and walk through the world's deepest gorge 'The Kali Gandaki', which splits the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna massifs towering 6,000 meters above. This Annapurna Circuit is a Tea-House trek where overnight accommodations are fairly basic. In most cases the bathrooms are shared. While our staff supervise the meal preparations, the meals are cooked by the lodge staff

GRADE D (Strenuous): Annapurna Circuit Trekking is 11 days of strenuous trekking at high elevation (max. 5,416m). 12 nights at teahouse lodges and 4 nights hotel. Annapurna Circuit Trekking is challenging and requires you are physically fit. Previous high elevation hiking experience is a plus.
