"Nepal is there to change you, not for you to change it. Lose yourself in its essence. Make your footprints with care and awareness of the
precarious balance around you. Nepal is not only a place on the map, but an experience, a way of life from which we all can learn."
Stephen Bezruchka - A Guide to Trekking in Nepal.
Annapurna Adventure - Rafting, Safari, & Trekking in Nepal
13 days in Nepal
This is a mild introduction to trekking in Nepal. It leads you through the friendly villages on the outskirts of Pokhara.
This trek is also known as the 'Royal Trek' in honour of Prince Charles who trekked this route in the early 1980's and is also favoured
by other celebrities like Mick Jagger. The trekking is followed by some exciting whitewater rafting on the Trisuli river and wildlife game
viewing excursions in the Chitwan
National Park. The variety of game supported by the park are One Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Monitor
Lizard, four kinds of deer, two types of crocodiles and over 450 species of birds. This package offers you with a wonderful opportunity
of trekking in Nepal, whitewater river rafting, and jungle safari all at a relaxed pace.
GRADE B (Moderate):
4 days moderate trekking in Nepal on uneven terrain (max. elevation 1,500m). Whitewater rafting,
elephant safari, canoe ride and nature walk. 4 nights camping - 2 nights
Jungle Lodge - 6 nights hotel. This trip involves longer walks at low
altitude. The walks should be within the capabilities of those who lead
a normal active life. However, some previous hiking experience would be advantageous.
