pashupatinath temple Mystical Nepal provides an excellent introduction to the culture and people of Nepal, exploring both Kathmandu and Pokhara valleys while enjoying the beauty of the Himalayas. The tour also includes a 2 nights visit to the famous Chitwan National Park for wildlife safari, highlight of which is the elephant back safari. The variety of wildlife supported by the park are the One Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Monitor Lizard, four species of deer, two species of crocodiles and over 450 species of birds.

GRADE A (Easy): Easy touring and day hikes - elephant safari, canoe ride and nature walk. 8 nights hotel and 3 nights Jungle Lodge. Touring with short day walks at low altitude that are suitable for people of all ages. No special physical preparation is required as this trip can be enjoyed by anyone who leads a fairly active life.

DAY 1   Arrive Kathmandu. Pick up at airport and transfer to hotel
DAY 2   Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath & Boudhanath
DAY 3   Drive to Nagarkot after sightseeing in Bhaktapur City
DAY 4   In Nagarkot view sunrise. Day free to explore surrounding villages or just relax
DAY 5   Drive to Kathmandu domestic airport. Fly to Bharatpur - Chitwan National Park
DAY 6   In Chitwan, elephant ride, canoe excursion, nature walk etc...
DAY 7   In Chitwan National Park for more elephant safari and other wildlife programs
DAY 8   Drive to Pokhara. Free to explore the lakeside
DAY 9   In Pokhara visit Tibetan Refugee Camp and hike to Peace Stupa
DAY 10   Drive to Kathmandu
DAY 11   Morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. Afternoon free
DAY 12   Transfer to Kathmandu international airport for final departure
